John Reese’s Traffic Secrets 2.0 Reviewed

Ok, so I ment to post this the day traffic secrets arrived… but I just couldn’t wait to dig in and have basically only come up for air, food and as little sleep as possible since then.

I consider myself a pretty good seo and article marketer and I love strategy, but I am nowhere close to the level John Reese is at.

The first part of the course is a series of 12 CD’s that cover the following

1. The Foundation
   He shares 7 core principals that act as the underlying foundation of the whole course. They will allow you to drive traffic to your site faster, while building a fan base that’s anxious to buy from you. You’ll even know exactly what you should be selling them in the first place.
2. Market Discovery
   Who’s your competition and some sneaky ways to figure out what they are doing (and how you can do it even better)
3. Keyword Science
   How To Build A Killer Keyword List, use them to their fullest advantage in the SERPs and how to do most of it with free keyword tools (never thought of some of these methods)
4. SEO Dynamics
   Forget thinking of SEO as a full-time job. The 80/20 rule applies …  but you need to know where you need to be spending your 20% effort on to get those 80% (or more) results. John has brought effective SEO down to a level that even my Dad would understand and would be able to implement.
   
   
5. Content Factory
   My favorite part of the course… this along was more than worth the price of admission for me. I am finally organized about what I publish when and with his system, I’ll never run out of ideas on what to write about… more on this in a future post.
6. Video Marketing
   Who knew it could be so easy? I don’t even have to be on camera???
7. Social Strategy
   I’ve been playing with this for just a few days … just with twitter and am seeing a 30% increase in traffic to my blog - Nice!
8. AdWords Mastery
   Haven’t gotten into this too much yet, but even I am realizing what a huge short cut his strategy is. And this is coming from me, the one who spends about 2 days a year giving adwords another try and I’m usually ready to pull my hair out and give up after throwing yet another couple of hundred bucks at the big G.
9. Advertising Methods
   Tons of other ways to advertise from free to stuff that can easily cost you a couple of grant per ad. I actually used one of his ideas inadvertently a few months ago and it’s driving an extra 10,000 visitors to one of my sales pages for free. And no, this is no low converting traffic from something like facebook or digg…. These are some of my best converting ones … Highly targeted.
   
   
10. Widgets & Software
    He had my head spinning here with ideas on how to implement this. I’ll be surprised if you don’t come up with at least 10 traffic generating widgets or pieces of software after watching this.
    
    
11. Affiliate Army
    How to find them and then how to get them to do all of the above for you.
12. The Master Plan
    This is where it all comes together and you will create your overall traffic generating strategy. After teaching all the concepts and tactics above, he starts you out with a step by step plan to implement all this stuff.
